Remote Dispatcher (part-time)
ConfidentialElMon Express LLC is a Hillside, NJ courier company serving law offices, medical practices, businesses and public offices across New Jersey. We're hiring a part-time Remote Dispatcher to keep our daily routes on time. You'll work from home on weekday mornings and early afternoons, using our web-based dispatch board. Pay and schedule $18–$22 per hour, based on experience Part-time, about 25 hours a week, W-2 employee Monday–Friday, early morning to early afternoon. Exact hours are set before your start date. Fully remote, for New Jersey residents Expected start: early 2027 What you'll do Monitor live driver locations and stop status on our dispatch board. Make sure drivers check in before each stop and arrive within each delivery window. Call drivers and customer contacts when a stop is running late, and log what happened. Reassign stops and arrange backup when a driver or van is unavailable. Confirm at the end of the day that every pickup is delivered or secured. Keep clear, accurate records of calls, delays and issues. What we're looking for 1+ year in dispatch, logistics, customer service, or another phone- and computer-based role Calm, organized and clear on the phone Comfortable with web apps, email and spreadsheets Reliable home internet, a computer and a quiet workspace Familiarity with New Jersey geography is a plus Hiring process Short phone call, then a video interview and a short dispatch exercise.
