Registered Nurse (RN) - Logistics Transfer Center

Role Overview This position involves coordinating surgical and procedural cases, managing hospital admissions and transfers, and facilitating bed placements to ensure efficient patient flow. The role requires ongoing communication with clinical teams, evaluating patient needs, and supporting emergent placement decisions. Responsibilities Coordinate all procedural, surgical, and admission activities, including transfers and bed assignments. Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including emergency and critical care units. Utilize clinical knowledge to determine optimal patient placement, especially in emergent situations. Support evidence-based practice, patient-centered care, and uphold safety and organizational standards. Participate in professional development, mentorship, and quality improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and accreditation standards. Qualifications & Skills Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; RN license (single or multi-state) and BLS certification required. Minimum of 2 years of hospital clinical nursing experience; experience with Epic and 3M systems preferred. Strong communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Ability to adapt to change and work collaboratively across departments.
