Regional truck driver

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Regional Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves commercial truck driving on over-the-road (OTR) routes, primarily handling short loads that are well-compensated. The ideal candidate will operate modern, high-quality equipment, such as 2020 Kenworth trucks, and enjoy consistent home time with weekly weekends off and daily home time. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks on assigned regional routes, adhering strictly to DOT regulations and safety standards. Manage short load deliveries efficiently across designated regions, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Maintain the cleanliness and proper functioning of the vehicle, including routine inspections and basic maintenance checks. Follow all federal, state, and local transportation laws and company policies during operations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during routes. Complete all required paperwork accurately and promptly, including logs in compliance with DOT requirements. Ensure compliance with safety protocols at all times to promote a safe working environment for yourself and others. Requirements Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience in commercial truck driving, preferably with over-the-road (OTR) routes. Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures related to commercial trucking. Ability to handle short loads efficiently while maintaining high safety standards. Good communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions. Reliable work ethic with a focus on punctuality and safety. Comfortable operating modern equipment such as 2020 Kenworth trucks or similar high-quality vehicles.
