Regional Truck Driver

We are looking for a dependable CDL Class A driver to operate a semi with a Conestoga trailer hauling steel coils primarily throughout Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan. This position is ideal for a driver who wants consistent regional work, regular miles, and a straightforward hauling operation. Drivers will be responsible for safely transporting steel coils, properly securing freight, completing required paperwork, and maintaining professional communication with dispatch and customers. Responsibilities include: Operate a Class A semi tractor with a Conestoga trailer Haul steel coils primarily between Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan Properly secure coils using chains, binders, coil racks, and appropriate securement equipment Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections Communicate with dispatch regarding pickups, deliveries, delays, and equipment issues Keep the truck and trailer reasonably clean and in good operating condition Follow all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety requirements Qualifications: Valid Class A CDL Clean or reasonably clean driving record Ability to safely secure steel coils Flatbed, Conestoga, or steel hauling experience preferred Must be dependable and communicate well Must be able to pass required DOT drug and alcohol testing Must have a current DOT medical card Experience hauling coils is strongly preferred, but we may consider experienced CDL drivers who are willing and able to learn proper coil securement. This is regional work with routes primarily in Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan. We are looking for someone dependable who takes care of the equipment, shows up on time, and wants consistent work with a growing trucking company. Pay: $2,600.00 - $4,000.00 per week Work Location: On the road
