• Plan routes effectively for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery records.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding any issues or delays during transport.
• Assist in the training of new drivers as needed.
Skills
• Class A CDL Required
• 2-3 Years Experience Required
• Proficient in operating manual an automatic transmission vehicles.
• Experience with step deck trailers and cargo securement.
• Strong truck driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency in route driving.
• Ability to load and unload freight safely using forklifts or other equipment as necessary.
• Previous delivery driver experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with dispatch and customers.
