Regional/OTR CDL-A Driver: Atlanta (Forrest Park, GA)

LANTER DISTRIBUTING , a leading temperature controlled warehousing and transportation organization, is seeking a reliable and energetic Regional-OTR CDL-A Truck Driver for our Forest Park/Atlanta, GA location. This position will require our driver to be flexible with scheduling. We may require 2 day routes throughout Alabama, Florida, and the Carolina's. Schedule: Monday-Friday (weekends off) Salary: $1,550 - $1600 /per week (Paid Bi-weekly) The successful candidate will possess the following: Valid Class A CDL license with 2+ years tractor trailer driving experience Ability to operate a manual transmission Must be Navigate ELD and Manage HOS Reefer trailer experience a plus Able to run 2 day routes throughout the week Must be flexible with scheduling Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check Other duties as assigned Benefits Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Package Short term/long term disability Generous paid time off including: Vacation & personal time Paid Holidays Responsibilities Operate CDL-A tractor-trailers in regional/OTR lanes, including refrigerated shipments, ensuring on-time delivery to destinations in the Atlanta area and beyond. Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections; document Hours of Service and comply with all regulations; log driving activities electronically where required. Load, secure, and unload freight using proper manual handling techniques and equipment; manage hazardous materials per policy if applicable. Navigate efficiently using GPS, follow planned routes, and adjust for traffic or weather to optimize delivery times. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, communicate delays or issues to dispatch, and uphold safety, integrity, and customer service standards.
