Regional Manager - Building Materials

Lead your region and the people who make it run. Southern Pine Lumber is stepping into its next stage of growth. We’re adding Regional Managers, one for each of three regions, and we need strong leaders to head them up: Northeast Florida, Southeast Florida, and West Coast Florida. Regions Southeast Florida: St. Lucie County to Key West (based in West Palm Beach or surrounding areas) Northeast Florida: Indian River County to Nassau County, plus the Orlando area (based in Rockledge or surrounding areas) West Coast Florida: Pasco County to Collier County (based in Sarasota or surrounding areas) What We Provide Competitive base salary plus a growth bonus Company vehicle, with fuel covered Hotels and meals covered when you’re on the road overnight Paid Vacation Days Paid Holidays A benefits package: contribution toward an individual health policy, life insurance, and supplemental health insurance (beginning after 90 days), plus employer-contributed profit sharing (beginning after 1 year) What You’ll Do Be accountable for the performance of every yard in your region Develop and help yard managers in your region. Coach them, back them up, and keep the bar high Keep daily operations and sales running strong across your region Oversee hiring, onboarding, and HR issues across your region Keep receivables and customer accounts on track Build real relationships with the contractors and builders in your region Make regular visits to locations and customers across your region Report to upper management Who Thrives Here You’re a hands-on leader who’s as comfortable in the yard as in a meeting. Contractors and builders trust you. You develop yard managers instead of micromanaging them, and you like being on the road. You see a region as something to grow, not just manage. This is a brand-new role, so you’re comfortable building the playbook as you go.
