Regional/Hybrid CDL A Driver

Job Overview As a Regional/Hybrid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) A Driver, you’ll move freight safely and reliably across regional and over-the-road (OTR) routes. You’ll operate tractor-trailers and may handle refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or automobile transportation loads based on assignment. This role combines driving with hands-on cargo work and delivery responsibilities. Duties Drive commercial trucks on regional and OTR routes, using GPS navigation and route planning to complete deliveries. Inspect and operate assigned equipment, including tractor-trailers with manual transmissions, and report safety or maintenance concerns. Load, unload, secure, and handle freight using safe manual handling practices and appropriate cargo procedures. Transport assigned goods, which may include refrigerated freight, automobiles, flatbed loads, tanker cargo, or dangerous goods, according to applicable requirements. Your impact: Safe driving and careful cargo handling help customers receive their freight on time and in good condition. Qualifications Valid CDL A and experience in commercial truck driving, commercial driving, delivery driving, or route driving; delivery driver experience is valued. Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, plus hazardous materials regulations when applicable. Ability to drive a manual-transmission tractor-trailer and safely load and unload freight. GPS navigation skills and readiness for regional or OTR driving routes. Hazmat (hazardous materials), tanker, flatbed, refrigerated trailer, or automobile transportation experience is preferred; assignments may require applicable endorsements. This role you may be home daily some weeks, others you may be on the road for a few days and home on the weekend. This will rotate and you will 5 days off in between.
