Regional Flatbed Truck Driver

Overview We are seeking a Regional Flatbed Truck Driver with a class A license to join our team. This role involves operating flatbed trucks across designated regions, ensuring timely and safe delivery of loads. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience, possess a TWIC card, and be committed to maintaining a professional and safety-conscious approach on the road. This position offers consistent work Monday through Friday, with weekends off, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. Drivers will enjoy being home most nights with no tarping required for loads. Duties Safely operate flatbed trucks across assigned regional routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Transport freight efficiently while maintaining delivery schedules. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Secure loads properly without the need for tarping, ensuring cargo stability during transit. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance as required by regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery times and any issues encountered on the road. Follow all safety protocols to ensure personal safety and that of others on the road. Qualifications Minimum of two years of flatbed trucking experience preferred. Valid TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) card required. Proven track record of safe driving and reliable delivery performance. Ability to operate flatbed trucks proficiently without the need for tarping loads. Strong knowledge of regional routes and transportation regulations. Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude. Ability to work Monday through Friday with weekends off, home most nights.
