Job Overview The Regional Dispatch Manager is responsible for leading dispatch and transportation activities while remaining actively involved in day-to-day dispatch operations. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coordinating driver activities, supporting efficient and timely deliveries, and ensuring a high level of service to our branches and customers. In addition to operational responsibilities, the Regional Dispatch Manager will lead the development and implementation of a more centralized dispatch model across the province. The role will act as a change agent, challenging existing practices and identifying better ways of working as the dispatch model evolves. Working closely with branch and regional leadership, the role will establish consistent dispatch processes, improve coordination of transportation resources across locations, and support the transition toward a centralized regional dispatch function. As the centralized model evolves, the role is expected to assume broader leadership responsibility for dispatch employees across the province. Responsibilities Dispatch Operations Perform hands-on dispatch activities, including planning and scheduling deliveries, assigning drivers, monitoring deliveries, and adjusting schedules as operational needs change. Coordinate with Customer Service, Warehouse, Sales, and branch operations to ensure timely and accurate deliveries and resolve service issues. Serve as a key point of contact for drivers regarding scheduling, route changes, work assignments, and day-to-day operational issues.
