Schedule based on assigned routes and business needs. Amount of Travel Required: Frequent Positions Supervised: None POSITION SUMMARY Drive regional routes throughout California, Arizona, and Nevada while making safe, accurate, and timely deliveries for Lamonica’s Pizza Dough. This hands-on Class A position includes loading and unloading product and may require overnight routes, with the possibility of being home approximately every other night depending on route and business needs. Essential functions and Responsibilities: Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional routes throughout California, Arizona, and Nevada. Deliver products safely, accurately, and on schedule to customer locations. Load and unload products safely and efficiently. Verify products are properly loaded, secured, and protected before and during transport. Follow company procedures for protecting product quality and maintaining required trailer conditions during transportation and delivery. Complete proof-of-delivery documentation accurately and on time. Report delivery shortages, damages, refusals, or other customer concerns promptly. Maintain accurate ELD, Hours of Service, mileage, and other required driver records. Perform required daily vehicle inspections and promptly report safety or maintenance concerns. Follow company safety policies and all applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. Communicate route delays, equipment concerns, delivery issues, accidents, and other transportation-related issues promptly to the Transportation team. Provide professional and courteous service when making customer deliveries. Safely operate, or successfully learn to operate, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment required for the position. Support shipping and receiving when needed. Work assigned schedules, which may include early mornings, days, evenings, overnight routes, and other schedules based on business needs. Perform other reasonable duties as needed to support the transportation team. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Experience: Two years of related experience operating 48-foot and 53-foot semi-trailers. Technology Skills: Ability to properly use ELD systems, onboard computer systems, GPS/navigation systems, and other transportation-related technology. Certifications & Licenses Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License Must meet and maintain all applicable DOT/FMCSA driver qualification requirements, including applicable medical qualification requirements.
