The Regional Central Dispatch Manager leads and coordinates equipment transportation and dispatch activities across Illinois and Indiana, serving as the central point of contact for Rental, Service, and Sales transportation requests. The role is responsible for optimizing deliveries, pickups, interbranch transfers, and equipment movements while ensuring safe, efficient, and on-time execution. The expected salary for this role ranges between $80-100k based on overall candidate experience. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage and prioritize transportation requests across multiple branches and departments. Coordinate equipment deliveries, pickups, transfers, and service-related moves. Optimize routing, driver utilization, and transportation capacity. Improve on-time performance, reduce transportation costs, and enhance operational efficiency. Lead regional dispatch processes and collaborate with branch, rental, service, and sales teams. Incorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, fleet operations, equipment rental, or a related field. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills. Experience with construction equipment, material handling, or the rental industry preferred. Location: Any branch within Illinois or Indiana. Regional travel may be required.
