Regional CDL Truck Driver

About Us Client is hiring Class A CDL regional truck drivers in Yuma, AZ, to haul batteries for a national dedicated customer. This is a dry van position with weekly home time. Drivers deliver freight across the Southwest and Mountain West and unload at each stop using a lift gate and electric pallet jack. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer (dry van) on regional routes Haul batteries for a national dedicated customer Unload freight at each stop using a lift gate and electric pallet jack Run routes throughout Arizona, West Texas, Southern California, Utah, Colorado, Nevada, and New Mexico Complete reports and records accurately, and follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures Maintain flexibility on departure days, as schedules and loads are assigned by seniority Compensation and Schedule $28.92 per hour , with overtime after 40 hours Home weekly Departure day varies, so drivers must be flexible Minimum Requirements At least 22 years old Valid Class A CDL No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply) No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the past three years 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years A profile created in the DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse at clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov before hire Ability to read and speak English well enough to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records Benefits Client offers competitive, affordable benefits, including: Health, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance Prescription drug coverage Paid time off, including holidays and earned vacation 401(k) matching #hc267106
