Regional CDL-A Truck Driver

Job Summary Join our team as a Regional CDL-A Truck Driver. In this vital role, you will operate tractor-trailer vans equipped with a lift gate, ensuring timely and safe deliveries to various locations. We are looking for motivated drivers with two years or more driving experience. We offer regional routes with weekend home time. We are a small company that is growing and having good drivers is key to our success and, as such, our drivers are treated as assets. Responsibilities Some light loading and unload freight manually, ensuring cargo is secured properly Comply fully with FMCSA regulations and DOT safety standards Perform pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks to guarantee truck safety and operational readiness Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding delivery status, route changes, or any issues encountered during transit Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, inspection reports, and incident reports in accordance with DOT regulations We maintain a positive work environment, so we require a driver that will work well with dispatchers and managers; other drivers and customers as a requirement of employment Requirements Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record and recent experience (2 years +) in commercial truck driving Proven experience with dry van work on a local, regional or OTR basis Knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations Manual transmission experience is preferred but not required Good communication skills; as we have good relationships with our customers Good work ethic; our company prides itself on going above and beyond - not just the minimum Must speak English fluently Must read and write in English Must provide at least 3 references with 2 from past employers No more than 2 jobs in the last year Must live in Southern WI or Northern IL within reasonable driving distance of Union Grove, WI Pay: $1,500.00 - $2,200.00 per week Work Location: On the road
