This regional CDL-A job in Tooele, UT hauls roofing and building materials to customers across 11 western states. You get an assigned automatic sleeper, extra pay for tarping and hazmat loads, and the company covers your hazmat endorsement. Pay & Bonuses $0.64–$0.68 per mile. $250 daily show/work pay. $20 per stop. $25 per hazmat load. $40 per full tarp load and $25 per half tarp load. $20 per hour detention pay. $250 per day during paid training. Shipper loads the trailer. Receiver unloads at the customer site. Mostly hazmat loads. Strapping required on every load. Tarping required approximately once a week. Requirements Valid Class A CDL. Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience. No SAP drivers. Clean driving record. Valid DOT Medical Card. Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire. Able to strap and tarp flatbed loads, including working from a harness at height. Able to chain up when weather requires. Comfortable driving mountain routes.
