Regional CDL A Driver

Overview As a Regional CDL A Driver, you’ll move freight safely and reliably across regional routes. You’ll operate a commercial truck and tractor-trailer, follow assigned routes using GPS navigation, and handle cargo with care. This role may involve refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or automobile transportation, depending on the load. Applicants should be prepared for over-the-road (OTR) driving and delivery work. Responsibilities Drive regional and OTR routes, completing pickups and deliveries on schedule. Inspect and operate trucks, trailers, and equipment; report safety or maintenance concerns. Load, unload, and secure freight, using safe manual handling practices when needed. Follow route plans, delivery instructions, and applicable transportation and hazardous materials rules. Your impact: Safe driving and careful cargo handling help customers receive freight in good condition and on time. Skills Required: Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL A), commercial truck driving ability, and familiarity with manual transmission and tractor-trailer operation. Required: Knowledge of driving, delivery driving, route driving, truck loading and unloading, and logistics cargo handling. Required: Understanding of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Preferred: Delivery driver experience and experience with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or automobile transportation. Preferred: Hazmat (hazardous materials) experience and knowledge of hazardous materials regulations and dangerous goods handling. This is a Regional role putting you at home every weekend.
