Box Truck Delivery Driver — Immediate Openings SPARTAN Trucking & Logistics We’re hiring two experienced drivers for an immediate start! We’re looking for dependable, hardworking professionals who communicate clearly, treat others with respect, and take pride in their work. Position Overview You’ll operate a box truck on multi-stop delivery routes throughout California, Arizona, and Nevada . Other locations as needed but NOT often at all. This is a 1099 independent contractor position . Pay & Schedule $220 per day , paid at a daily rate rather than hourly. Full-time earning potential of $58,000+ annually , depending on the number of days worked. Routes typically begin around 6:00 AM and continue until deliveries are completed. Workdays average approximately 12 hours , but may be shorter or longer depending on the route. Once full-time, the regular schedule is Monday–Friday, plus one required weekend per month . Flexibility is required, as routes, start times, and daily schedules may vary. What You’ll Do Safely transport freight between distribution centers and customer locations. Complete multi-stop deliveries efficiently and professionally. Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic preventive maintenance. Follow delivery schedules and communicate promptly about delays. Maintain accurate logs, mileage records, fuel receipts, and delivery paperwork. Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures. Safely maneuver trucks into loading and unloading areas. Confirm delivery instructions and obtain required signatures or delivery verification. Immediately report mechanical concerns, accidents, violations, or other issues. What We’re Looking For At least two years of box truck or commercial driving experience . 25 years of age or older . A clean driving record with no recent moving violations. Familiarity with GPS, routing apps, and electronic driver tools. Strong knowledge of truck safety and DOT requirements. Availability for regional travel and longer workdays. Excellent communication, prompt responses, and consistent attendance. Sound judgment when handling traffic, weather, route changes, or mechanical concerns. A respectful attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to support the team.
