Receiving Specialist – Forklift/WMS – DLX Deals North Canton, OH | $18–$20/hr DOE | Mon–Fri 8:00am–4:30pm | 1 opening | In-person only DLX Deals is hiring a detail-oriented Receiving Specialist for our North Canton warehouse (Canton/Akron area). You'll receive, inspect, and log incoming shipments, make sure every product is counted, staged, and stored correctly, and lead 1–2 crews during unloading. Pay & benefits - $18–$20/hr, depending on experience - Medical insurance - Paid holidays - Annual raises based on performance - Bonuses when the company and warehouse hit goals What you'll do - Unload incoming shipments and check quantities and condition against POs and packing slips - Direct and coordinate 1–2 crews during unloading (crew-lead role, not a formal supervisor) - Inspect products for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues quickly - Log received inventory accurately in our WMS (ShipHero) - Safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts to unload, move, and stage freight - Sort, label, and stage products for put-away; help with put-away and restocking - Run regular cycle counts and flag discrepancies - Work with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to resolve shortages, overages, and damages - Keep the receiving area clean, safe, and organized What you need - Forklift certification / forklift experience (required) - Previous warehouse or receiving experience (required) - High school diploma or GED - Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and reach for long periods - Strong attention to detail; comfortable with handheld scanners and basic computers - Clear communication with vendors, carriers, and teammates - Must pass a drug test and background check Nice to have - Warehouse management system (WMS) experience (we use ShipHero) - Reach truck experience - Experience leading or coordinating a crew Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: Health insurance Paid time off Application Question(s): Are you willing to take a drug test?
