Receiving Specialist

Receive shipments from vendor suppliers, inspect product for damages and number of pallets sent before signing paperwork. Process RMA returns and advise management of rush product needed for production floor. Process all packing slips and submit to accounting. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Receive shipments from UPS, common carrier, pallet trucks outside. 2. Inspect all shipments for quantity shipped, damages and sign paperwork upon receipt. 3. Note on driver bill of lading if product was damaged and will advise upon inspection. 4. Verify product according to packing slip or invoices. 5. Once received, apply thermal labels with required product information. 6. Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control. 7. Report and damages to Quality Technician or proper documentation and necessary pictures. 8. Receive and reconcile Po’s in ICIM system 9. Collaborate with Purchasing department on any shipment discrepancies that don’t match with PO against actual product shipped. 10. Distribute any parts to maintenance department and designated office staff. 11. Loading and off-loading truck for next day as needed to support the operation. 12. Preparing small single custom shipments for return such as units when required. 13. Help offload Waynesboro truck, when needed and put away if time permits. 14. Drive company box truck to and from offsite location when needed. 15. Monthly pickup at designated vendor locations when needed. 16. Assist in cycle counts for shop supplies every Wednesday. 17. Assist in warehouse Material Handling to pull orders as needed. 18. Listen for receiving bell at all times. 19. Operate forklift daily. 20. Maintaining a clean and organized work environment. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS 1. Basic inventory receiving experience and processing packing slips in system. 2. Ability to drive sit down and stand-up forklift. 3. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent. 4. Basic knowledge of the metric system, computer entry in ICIM program. 5. Ability to lift up to 70 pounds required #LI-DNI MUST HAVE 2 - 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN RECEIVING This position is at our Hartwell location. 1st Shift Begins at 7 am Must be able to work in a NON-AC-Warehouse
