Receiving/Shipping Material Handler Pay Rate: $19.00 Hr. Days: 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Job Description: Frazier Industrial Company is the leading manufacturer of racking systems, with its headquarters located in Long Valley, NJ. The Receiving Material Handler Position is full-time and is based in Lamar, SC. This person will unload trucks and feed material to production workers utilizing an overhead crane, forklift and side loader. They will also be responsible for efficiently maintaining inventory accuracy using a handheld scanner. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned or requested. · Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stocks recording location of inventory · Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders. · Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering product to the production floor by use of forklift and overhead crane · Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units · Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs. Unloading: Operates forklifts safely. Rigging the materials/bundles safely and using a overhead bridge crane to move frames to an appropriate area to complete banding procedures. Unloading – Using a forklift, safely unload material and/or supplies and move to the appropriate place in the shop or yard. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: · 2-3 years’ experience with Overhead Bridge Cranes and Forklift. · Ability to lift 50 Lbs. and work in hot/cold environments. · High School Diploma or GED equivalent. · Strong organizational, time management, and inventory management skills. · Safety consciousness and ability to use a scanner. · Must be willing to work approved overtime on some Fridays · Must have an excellent history of punctual and daily attendance Pay: From $19.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Disability insurance Employee assistance program Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Vision insurance Work Location: In person
