Receiving Manager

Seeking a Receiving Manager to support a large-scale power plant construction project in Baytown, TX. This role is responsible for overseeing the receipt, inspection, tracking, storage, and distribution of materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and documentation. The Receiving Manager will coordinate with vendors, warehouse personnel, and project teams to ensure materials are available and accounted for throughout construction. Qualifications 3-5+ years of experience as a Receiving Manager or similar materials management role on large construction or industrial projects Strong Microsoft Excel and general computer proficiency Experience managing inventory, receiving processes, and material tracking systems Proven leadership experience managing personnel Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Willingness to spend significant time walking across large project sites Why this Role Key role supporting a major power plant construction project High visibility position coordinating critical project materials and logistics Mix of warehouse, inventory, field, and team leadership responsibilities Opportunity to work closely with construction, procurement, and vendor teams Strong ownership over material control, inventory accuracy, and project reporting Long-term project environment with large-scale industrial construction exposure
