Position Summary
The Receiving Lead & Cycle Counter assists the Production Manager and Stock Room Supervisor in overseeing receiving operations and inventory accuracy. This role also supports the Purchasing Manager by ensuring flawless execution of receiving inspections for purchased materials. The position emphasizes process quality, efficiency, and strong collaboration across departments.
Position Responsibilities
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Ensure Receiving operations comply with all Quality System requirements.
• Follow all safety regulations and actively promote safety awareness.
• Receive materials and verify accuracy against Purchase Orders.
• Inspect incoming materials to ensure they meet product quality standards.
• Document and retain records per Poly Electronics procedures.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Engineering, Production, and Quality teams as needed.
• Adhere to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) system procedures.
• Strive to meet and exceed department performance metrics.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve process efficiency.
• Foster a positive and respectful team environment in line with Poly Electronics’ team philosophy.
• Recognize and support the importance of achieving Poly Electronics’ quality objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical & Role Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Forklift certification a plus (or willingness to be certified).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
