Receiving Lead

Job Overview The receiving lead person will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all incoming goods to ensure they are received, inspected, and stored accurately and efficiently. This role requires leadership, ensuring smooth operation and flow while maintaining compliance with company policies. Responsibilities and Duties Directly coordinates receiving of goods, transfers, and processing of incoming and outgoing documents to match goods. Oversee personal to ensure work is done safely and in a timely manner according to our policies and procedures. Instruct employees of daily assignments and follow up to ensure assignments are complete. Work with scheduling department (for daily needs) to receive or transfer goods. Train newly hired employees and existing employees to ensure policies and procedures are being followed. Operate lift truck as necessary to complete daily tasks. Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Previous lead or supervisor position experience needed. Qualifications High school education Supervisor or Lead position experience in receiving warehouse environment Proficient in AS400, email and computer skills Strong leadership and organizational skills Ability to address and resolve issues that may arise with the receiving of goods Lift truck experience needed Requirements This position requires walking, sitting, squatting, bending and lifting.
