Responsibilities Smile and greet customers with a warm welcome--putting our customer's needs first Receive incoming shipments by verifying quantities, inspecting for damages, and recording data accurately using inventory management software ALL in an efficient and timely manner Manage stock levels in the back and on retail floor through precise inventory management practices, including stocking and close communication with teammates about inventory details Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (certification preferred), and load & unload trucks safely and efficiently Utilize computer software system to maintain correct shipments and inventory Coordinate/Oversee/Communicate receiving logistics with appropriate team members Participate in and aid in conducting and communicating clearly and kindly with our team about regular inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies promptly to maintain accurate stock records Take ownership of cleaning, maintaining, organizing all aspects of stockroom Willingness and positive attitude to learn other tasks (answering phones, making keys, processing UPS drop-offs, mixing paint, etc.) in the building & work some Saturdays Assisting teammates with any inventory questions or issues Requirements Willingness to learn warehouse operations with a focus on receiving, inventory management software, and logistics coordination or other relative experience showing attention to detail and exceptional work ethic. Strong computer skills (knowledge of at least the basics of Excel preferred) Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for stock counting, order processing, and data entry tasks Willingness & proven responsibility to learn forklift driving A heart for service and ability to clearly and kindly communicate with customers, team members (over radios & in person), vendors, and delivery drivers This is a very active job. Physical ability to lift heavy items safely, stand for extended periods, and perform load & unload duties efficiently is a must.
