Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, Inc.Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Receiving I professional to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, ensuring that all goods are received accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies. Duties Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantities and conditions against purchase orders and delivery documents Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load and unload trucks safely and efficiently Accurately enter data into warehouse management software and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems such as Business Central or similar platforms Assist with stocking, picking & packing orders, ensuring timely order fulfillment for internal departments or external customers Prepare shipments by packaging products according to shipping & receiving standards while adhering to trade compliance and international trade regulations Maintain organized inventory records through data entry and inventory management software, supporting stock accuracy and audit readiness Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate shipping logistics, schedule deliveries, and optimize warehouse distribution processes Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations or related roles with familiarity in shipping & receiving procedures Proficiency in warehouse management systems, inventory management software, and ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, trade compliance, international trade regulations, and order fulfillment processes Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers safely; forklift certification is preferred Excellent basic math skills for inventory counting and data entry accuracy Competence in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes Effective customer service skills to communicate clearly with team members and external vendors Physical ability to load & unload trucks, stand for extended periods, and perform manual stocking tasks efficiently Join our team as a Receiving I to play a vital role in ensuring our warehouse runs smoothly while advancing your career in logistics!
