Receiving Forklift Driver – Apple Warehouse

Job Type: Full-Time | Seasonal (Potential for Longer-Term Employment) About the Position We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Receiving Forklift Driver to join our apple warehouse team. This position is responsible for unloading, transporting, and organizing incoming apple bins and materials while ensuring product quality and maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities Safely operate a sit-down forklift to unload and move apple bins throughout the warehouse. Receive incoming fruit from orchard trucks. Verify incoming loads for accuracy and report any damaged product or discrepancies. Stack and organize bins according to warehouse procedures. Supply production areas with fruit as needed. Load and unload trailers, trucks, and warehouse storage areas. Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance issues. Keep work areas clean and organized. Follow all food safety, OSHA, and company safety policies. Assist with general warehouse duties when needed. Qualifications Previous forklift experience required (apple warehouse experience preferred). Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in cold warehouse environments. Strong attention to detail. Dependable with excellent attendance. Ability to work overtime, weekends, and flexible shifts during peak harvest season. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in an apple packing warehouse. Experience handling produce or agricultural products.
