Receiving Coordinator

Description Receiving Coordinator Denver, CO | $28-$32/hr + Weekly Pay + Benefits Position Summary Assist the shipping and receiving supervisor, on one or more projects, with the day-to-day administrative operations of a department. Primary Responsibilities Perform administrative support tasks and process documentation related to shipping, receiving, and inventory. Set up and maintain organized project filing systems, including archiving records for future reference. Generate and distribute logs and reports to support operational visibility and decision-making. Maintain positive and professional relationships with internal teams and external customers. Submit orders and track inventory levels, including consumables and supplies. Assist with scheduling shipments and coordinating incoming orders. Communicate with vendors regarding equipment repairs and rentals. Maintain Receiving area cleanliness and organization. Support yard organization and material identification efforts. Perform close-up checklist daily. Perform other duties as assigned. Accountability Comply with all company policies and procedures. All employees are accountable for safety and health and are empowered to stop work if an unsafe condition is present. Employees should immediately notify their supervisor so that the hazard may be corrected. Administrative Career Level Receives direct supervision. Performs administrative or technical responsibilities. Objectives based on established guidelines, processes and operating procedures. Coordinates own tasks with a specific range of responsibilities in accomplishing well defined outcomes. Work is generally structured or recurring. Physical Requirements Work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy and hazardous areas. Work in high places, tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse locations. Climb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch. Work in all types of weather. Ability to operate various types of forklifts. Must have working knowledge of all trade materials and tools. Ability to lift, move, and/or carry 50 lbs. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical education or certification is a plus. 2–3 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations. Proficiency with inventory management systems and shipping software. Ability to use tablets or handheld devices for tracking and documentation. Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word). Ability to read and interpret bills of lading (BOL), packing slips, and shipping documentation. Skilled in coordinating shipments, scheduling deliveries, and managing incoming orders. Strong communication skills for working with vendors, trucking companies, and internal teams. Ability to coordinate with shop and field superintendents on delivery schedules. Capable of maintaining a clean and organized yard or warehouse. Strong attention to detail in tracking inventory and consumables. Ability to exercise judgment and initiative in resolving logistical issues. Experience in planning subcontractor services for crane or material handling needs.
