Receiving Coordinator
Deceuninck North AmericaReceiving Coordinator The Receiving Coordinator is responsible for managing all indirect material receipts for the manufacturing facility, ensuring timely and accurate processing of purchase order receipts, inventory transactions, and supplier deliveries. This role serves as the primary liaison between Receiving, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Operations, and suppliers to ensure materials are received, documented, and distributed efficiently. Key Responsibilities Receiving & Purchase Order Processing Receive and verify all indirect material deliveries. Match packing slips to purchase orders. Process ERP receipts within 24 hours of delivery. Investigate and resolve quantity, pricing, and shipment discrepancies. Maintain accurate receiving documentation and records. Invoice & Accounts Payable Support Work closely with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice holds. Assist in reducing receiving-related invoice exceptions. Ensure timely processing of receiving transactions to support supplier payment terms. Material Management Coordinate delivery of materials to Maintenance, Engineering, Production, and other departments. Track high-priority and critical deliveries. Supplier Coordination Coordinate resolution of damaged, short, or incorrect shipments. Support expedited deliveries for critical operational needs. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve receiving efficiency and material flow. Develop and maintain receiving standard work practices. Participate in cost reduction and inventory optimization initiatives. Qualifications Required High school diploma or GED. Minimum 3 years of experience in receiving, inventory control, purchasing support, warehouse operations, or materials management. Basic understanding of purchase orders, invoices, and inventory transactions. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Preferred Associate degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field. Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP systems. Forklift certification is a plus. Experience in manufacturing or industrial operations. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and material handling. Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment. Ability to work in office, warehouse and manufacturing environments.
