Receiving Coordinator

Job Overview This position will be responsible for all receiving and inventory management at AFT. The Receiving Coordinator will report to the Operations Manager and Shop Foreman. Hours will be M-F, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM. Verifying incoming deliveries for accuracy and completeness against packing slip Accurately label and place goods in appropriate stock location Provide confirmed received packing slips to Purchasing Manager to catalog parts Receiving Coordinator must be qualified and certified to safely operate a forklift Support Shipping Coordinator with loading/unloading trucks with forklift or pallet jack Create inventory locations for new items Optimize use of warehouse space by organizing goods logically All products in the facility must be clearly and accurately labeled and subsequently documented with stock location in our ERP system Work with Shop Foreman/Engineering/Maintenance for best use of space Continually keep the warehouse and aisles neat and orderly, clear of skids and broom clean throughout Maintain and refill subcomponent parts stock in the shop floor bins Maintain the stock overflow spreadsheet for secondary parts locations Assist shop workers with locating and obtaining parts for active jobs Bring media rolls to the Pleaters and help load with the forklift as needed Quarterly cycle counting (physical inventory) Provide back up assistance to the Shipping Coordinator for arranging shipments when Shipping Coordinator is out of the office Make sure forklifts are hooked up to charge as needed at the end of each day Maintain a stock of shipping pallets at the point of use locations Assist with spin on filter packaging and labeling Assist with general production tasks, as time permits and delivery schedules require Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs. Must have basic computer skills (spreadsheets, email, etc.) Must be able to stand, walk, climb ladders and bend regularly during a work shift.
