Receiving Clerk
Tri-Tech Forensics, Inc.Position Summary The Receiving Clerk receives, inspects, records, and organizes incoming materials and supplies. This role helps ensure that production and order fulfillment teams have the correct items when needed and that inventory records remain accurate. Key Responsibilities Unload and receive incoming shipments safely. Compare deliveries with purchase orders and packing slips to confirm item numbers, descriptions, and quantities. Inspect materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues promptly. Enter receipts into the inventory system and maintain receiving records. Label and move materials to their assigned storage or production locations. Coordinate with purchasing, production, and warehouse staff to resolve receiving issues and prioritize needed materials. Keep the receiving area clean, organized, and safe. Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse tasks as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in receiving, warehousing, inventory, or a similar role preferred. Ability to read purchase orders, packing slips, and product labels accurately. Basic computer and data entry skills. Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills. Ability to use warehouse equipment safely; forklift experience is a plus. Physical Requirements This position involves standing, walking, bending, and moving materials throughout the workday. The employee must be able to lift and move items up to 50 pounds , with assistance or equipment when appropriate.
