Receiving Clerk $18/hr Monday–Thursday 6:00 AM–4:30 PM Who We Are At Lantech, we build innovative packaging equipment that helps companies around the world move and protect their products. Our manufacturing and warehouse teams play a critical role in ensuring materials and equipment are accurately received, organized, and delivered to support our operations. Why You Matter As a Receiving Clerk , you will help ensure incoming materials, parts, components, and supplies are accurately received, documented, and routed to the appropriate locations. You’ll play an important role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting our manufacturing operations. What You’ll Do Receive incoming shipments of raw materials, parts, components, and supplies from vendors and suppliers. Unload trucks and containers using forklifts, Raymonds, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other appropriate equipment. Verify shipment contents against purchase orders, packing slips, bills of lading, and other receiving documentation. Count, weigh, or measure items as needed to verify that materials received match the documented type and quantity. Identify and communicate shipment discrepancies or damaged materials to the appropriate leader. Enter receiving information into applicable inventory and MRP systems. Maintain accurate receiving records and documentation. Create and maintain receiving reports and other related documentation as needed. File receiving documents according to established procedures. Sort, label, and identify incoming materials as needed. Route received materials to the appropriate department, storeroom, staging area, or production location. Stage materials for use or put-away. Maintain an organized receiving area and assist with general material organization. Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory activities as directed. Support inventory accuracy by ensuring received materials are properly documented and routed. Communicate material discrepancies or shortages to the appropriate leader. Work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Follow standardized work and established safety and quality procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned by the Factory Leader. What We’re Looking For Strong attention to detail with basic math and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively with general supervision. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience working with MRP systems. Experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment as required. Willingness to learn IMS and other applicable systems. Willingness to learn to operate the Raymond to provide coverage for Steel Receiving. Strong commitment to safety and following established procedures. Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds as needed. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the receiving and manufacturing environment as required by the position. Education High school diploma or equivalent required.
