Receiving Clerk

Overview As a Receiving Clerk, you’ll keep warehouse operations moving by checking incoming shipments, recording inventory accurately, and directing goods to the right locations. You’ll work with warehouse management systems and inventory management software to support shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and warehouse distribution. Your impact: Accurate receiving and inventory records help warehouse teams locate stock quickly and fulfill customer orders reliably. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and document deliveries; compare shipment details with purchase orders and report discrepancies. Enter shipment and inventory data using a warehouse management system, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, or AS400. Stock and organize materials; support order picking, picking and packing, packaging, and order picker tasks. Load and unload shipments using equipment such as a pallet jack, forklift, or radio frequency (RF) scanner, as authorized. Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and customer service teams; follow shipping logistics, trade compliance, and international trade regulations where applicable. Qualifications Basic math, accurate data entry, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience with inventory management, warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, or warehouse distribution preferred. Familiarity with inventory management software, ERP systems, material requirements planning (MRP), or AS400 is an asset. Ability to handle stocking, packaging, order fulfillment, and load-and-unload tasks safely.
