About the Role We are hiring a Receiving Clerk to join our Procurement team in Walker, Michigan, reporting to the Procurement Manager. You will receive and check in every inbound delivery, catch damage or shortages before they become problems, and keep our inventory records accurate. When materials are received correctly and put in the right place, Production can keep running and our customers get their orders on time. This role is where that starts. What You'll Do Safely receive, unload, and process inbound deliveries. Check shipments against packing slips, purchase orders, and receiving documents. Inspect materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues promptly. Label, tag, and stage materials in their designated locations. Enter receiving data accurately into our inventory system. Communicate receiving issues with Procurement, Production, and Warehouse leadership. Take part in cycle counts and help with putaway and restocking. Keep the receiving dock and storage areas organized, clean, and safe. Who You Are High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Detail-focused, with a strong focus on accuracy. Able to read and follow work instructions, packing slips, and purchase orders. Comfortable with basic computer work, scanning, data entry, and email/Teams. Reliable, with good attendance, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand or walk for extended periods, and work on concrete floors in varying warehouse temperatures. Available full-time, with overtime during peak periods and Saturdays as needed. Receiving or warehouse experience, barcode scanner and WMS/ERP experience, forklift certification, or cycle counting experience is a plus.
