EatonEaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Receiving Clerk- 1st Shift. The hourly rate for this position is $22.71 per hour. What you’ll do: Eaton’s B-Line Division is currently seeking a Receiving Clerk to join our team. This position is based at our Sherman, TX facility and will work Monday through Friday 7am to 3:30pm. The Receiving Clerk is responsible for the accurate and timely receipt, inspection, documentation, and staging of incoming materials. This role supports manufacturing operations by ensuring inventory accuracy, material integrity, and proper system transactions while maintaining safety, quality, and housekeeping standards. This position will also serve as Crib attendant as necessary, with advanced notice and adequate training completion. Job Functions Unload and receive all inbound materials, verify quantities, part numbers, and documentation against purchase orders and packing slips. Inspect incoming materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies, report and follow non-conforming material procedures when required. Accurately perform receiving and inventory transactions in SAP (goods receipts, transfers, and adjustments). Pallets that go in the warehouse or crib racks need to be on a standard 36x48 pallet. Label, stage, consolidate and move materials to designated storage, warehouse, crib, production locations, or. Person/s. Coordinate with Purchasing, Planning, Inventory Control, and Quality teams to resolve shortages or discrepancies. Maintain accurate receiving records and required documentation. Support cycle counts, physical inventories, and internal or external audits as needed. Follow all safety rules, standard work instructions, and 5S/housekeeping requirements. Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) activities and problem-solving initiatives. Crosstrain and assist in other material handling or warehouse functions as needed. Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualifications: High school diploma, GED or equivalent. Have at least one (1) year of experience in a production shipping environment (or similar environment). Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license. No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of Sherman, TX will be considered. Basic knowledge in all functions of SAP related to shipping. Basic computer skills in Excel, Word and E-mail. Ability to operate sit down and stand-up forklifts. Able to perform multiple functions simultaneously in the shipping department (Pulling, Picking, Wrapping, Staging, Loading, Shipping Coordination, BOLs, Monitoring Picks, Securing Trailers, Moving Trailers). Qualifications required within 6 months: Must be able to drive every type of forklift in the plant. Skills: Position Criteria: Ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task and execute projects in a timely manner. Ability to obtain internal powered industrial equipment certification.
