Youll start by training on 1st shift before moving to your permanent 2nd-shift schedule.
What Youll Do
• Operate a sit-down forklift to move materials and finished products throughout the facility
• Receive incoming supplies, raw materials, components, and equipment
• Pull materials needed for production and packaging based on work orders
• Move finished products from production areas to designated storage locations
• Stage and organize materials to keep production running efficiently
• Load, unload, tag, sort, and store incoming materials
• Inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies
• Verify shipments against bills of lading, invoices, and purchase orders
• Process incoming materials and maintain accurate inventory records
• Keep warehouse, storage, and staging areas clean and organized
• Follow company safety procedures when operating equipment and handling materials
What Were Looking For
• 23 years of warehouse, material handling, shipping, or receiving experience
• Sit-down forklift experience
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Experience with shipping and receiving paperwork
• Experience organizing, staging, and tracking warehouse inventory
• Comfortable working in a physical, fast-moving warehouse environment
• Dependable and able to follow safety and inventory procedures
• Bilingual communication skills are a plus, but not required
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Prospect, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
