Receiving Clerk
Central Valley Builders Supply, Inc.Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, stocking and processing incoming shipments to ensure seamless inventory flow and optimal warehouse operations. You will work directly with the company's purchasing manager. Duties Verify and document all inbound shipments Organize and stock received items in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper packaging and labeling Collaborate with shipping & receiving teams to coordinate order picking, packing, and order fulfillment processes Complete daily cycle counts, and reconciliation to maintain accurate records Excellent organizational skills with a focus on stocking Basic math skills for verifying quantities and calculating measurements during receiving tasks Customer service orientation to effectively communicate with team members and internal stakeholders about shipment status or issues Ability to attend trade shows and travel between company locations Computer literate with the ability to answer emails and learn company software.
