Job Overview: We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Receiving Associate to join our team. The Receiving Associate is responsible for overseeing the inbound receiving process by ensuring all incoming shipments are received accurately, inspected, documented, and entered into the warehouse management system in a timely manner. This position works closely with Inventory Control Management to maintain inventory accuracy, coordinate product flow, and ensure inbound inventory is processed efficiently. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate and oversee all inbound shipments from vendors and manufacturers. Verify received products against purchase orders and receiving documentation. Inspect inbound freight for damage, shortages, overages, and discrepancies. Ensure all inbound shipments are received into the warehouse management system within 48hours of arrival unless otherwise directed by management. Ensure products are properly labeled and prepared for warehouse storage. Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) Manager to inspect inbound shipments and perform quality control inspections when necessary. Immediately notify the Quality Control (QC) Manager of damaged, incorrect, or questionable products identified during the receiving process. Work closely with Inventory Control Management to coordinate timely product put away and resolve receiving discrepancies. Assist with the physical put away of inventory when Inventory Control Management requires additional support or during periods of high workload. Operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment safely as required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area while following 5S standards. Follow all company safety policies, warehouse procedures, and quality standards. Assist with inventory counts, picking, packing, and other warehouse duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (if applicable) Basic computer literacy and the ability to navigate warehouse management and order systems. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Forklift certification or the ability to become certified. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Previous receiving or warehouse experience preferred.
