Receiving Associate

RECEIVING ASSOCIATE What's in it for you? Join our team as a Receiving Associate and play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly at both of our Wall Centre properties. In this position, you'll be responsible for receiving, inspecting, organizing, and distributing inventory while maintaining accurate records and supporting inventory control processes. You'll work closely with multiple departments to ensure products and supplies are received, stored, and distributed efficiently. What your day will look like: Receive and inspect food, beverage, liquor, banquet, and general inventory deliveries Verify shipments against purchase orders and delivery documentation Identify and report discrepancies, shortages, damaged goods, or quality concerns Maintain accurate receiving records, invoices, and inventory documentation Organize and store products in appropriate storage areas, including coolers, freezers, and storerooms Rotate inventory using FIFO (First-In, First-Out) practices Fulfill internal departmental inventory requests and distribute supplies as required Participate in monthly inventory counts, reconciliations, and audits Receive and track guest packages and internal shipments Maintain clean, safe, and organized receiving and storage areas Follow workplace health, safety, food safety, and sanitation standards Your experience and skills include: Previous experience in receiving, inventory control, warehouse operations, hospitality, or a related environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy with documentation and data entry Experience working with inventory management or accounting systems is an asset Knowledge of inventory control principles and FIFO practices Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Customer service mindset with a commitment to quality and efficiency Class 5 BC Drivers License Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull inventory and supplies safely Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods Comfortable working in receiving docks, warehouses, coolers, freezers, and storage areas To note: Complete job description will be presented at the time of job offer Must be eligible to work in Canada.
