Receiving Associate
Park Plaza Liquor and DeliPark Plaza Liquor & Deli is seeking a dependable, highly organized Receiving & Inventory Specialist to join our team. This position combines inventory management, data entry, receiving, and administrative responsibilities. A significant portion of the role involves computer-based work, making strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to prioritize tasks essential. We’re looking for someone who can manage daily responsibilities efficiently, meet deadlines, communicate effectively, and adapt as our systems and processes continue to evolve. Key Responsibilities Receive, verify, and organize incoming merchandise. Maintain accurate inventory records and complete data entry. Process invoices, inventory adjustments, and related documentation. Assist with ordering, purchasing, and vendor communication. Identify and help resolve inventory and pricing discrepancies. Maintain organized storage areas and inventory records. Prioritize daily tasks and meet established deadlines. Provide occasional register coverage and customer assistance. Support additional operational responsibilities as needed. Qualifications Strong computer and data entry skills. Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently. Customer service and cash-handling skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical receiving duties. 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred. Familiarity with spreadsheets, inventory software, or POS systems such as Toast is helpful. Beer, wine, and spirits knowledge is a plus but not required.
