Receiving Associate

Nelson's Ace Hardware is currently looking for a second full-time Receiving Associate. The Receiving Associate is responsible for getting inventory ready to be put out on the sales floor as well as working with vendors on order discrepancies. Pay is based on experience. No weekends or holidays required. Job Responsibilities: Unpack and examine incoming shipments from outside vendors. Verify counts with information listed on packing slips. Verify items received and reconcile packing slip to purchase order Receive items, print price stickers and correctly apply to product Sort, stock and store items in an organized manner Report any discrepancies or damage to packages at the time of receipt Sort and prepare Ace warehouse freight to go out on the sales floor Stock shelves, face inventory, help in merchandising giftware Job Qualifications: Strong attention to detail/accuracy Ability to stand for extended period of time Ability to lift 50 lbs Basic mathematic skills Experienced with computer systems Maintain an organized and clean working space Demonstrated ability to be a strong team player Excellent communication skills, positive attitude and ability to change priorities quickly and remain positive Merchandising experience is preferred but not required Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Ability to Commute: Eagle River, WI 54521 (Required) Work Location: In person
