Receiving Associate

Receiving Associate Location: Hendersonville, TN Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday – Friday 7 am to 4 pm Pay: [$15–$17 per hour] About the Role We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Receiving Associate to join our team. The Receiving Associate is responsible for receiving, inspecting, organizing, and accurately processing incoming merchandise and materials while helping maintain a safe, clean, and organized receiving area. Responsibilities Receive and unload incoming shipments safely and efficiently. Verify quantities, items, and condition of merchandise against purchase orders and shipping documents. Inspect deliveries for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues promptly. Accurately process receiving paperwork and/or inventory transactions. Label, sort, stage, and properly store incoming merchandise. Maintain an organized and clean receiving area. Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation as needed. Communicate with vendors, delivery drivers, and other team members regarding shipments. Follow all company safety procedures and inventory-control policies. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous receiving, warehouse, inventory, retail, or related experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good organizational and communication skills. Ability to safely lift and move merchandise as required. Basic computer skills and the ability to learn inventory systems. Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
