Receiving and Shipping Associate

Job Summary Reylos is seeking a reliable, organized, and safety-conscious Warehouse Associate to join our shipping and receiving team. Our warehouse primarily handles impact-resistant windows and doors, along with related components and materials. These products can be heavy, bulky, and delicate, requiring proper handling techniques and care during receiving, storage, loading, unloading, and shipping. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and inspecting incoming materials, preparing outgoing orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring products are stored, handled, and shipped correctly. We are looking for individuals who can work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment, perform physical material-handling tasks, and consistently follow established safety procedures. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, verify, and record incoming impact windows, doors, components, and related materials. Verify that received products and quantities match purchase orders and shipping documents. Prepare outgoing orders by verifying products, quantities, and shipment condition before dispatch. Safely handle, move, and store impact windows and doors while preventing product damage and workplace injuries. Load and unload trucks carrying windows, doors, and related materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other authorized material-handling equipment, as applicable. Use safe lifting and material-handling techniques when working with heavy or bulky products. Request assistance or use appropriate handling equipment when necessary. Operate RF scanners and inventory systems to record transactions and maintain accurate inventory information. Organize, identify, and store products in designated warehouse locations to maintain an orderly and efficient workspace. Perform physical inventory counts, assist with stock replenishment, and report inventory discrepancies or damaged products. Prepare shipping documentation and coordinate freight pickups with carriers as needed. Keep warehouse, loading, and unloading areas clean, organized, and safe. Follow all applicable safety procedures, use required personal protective equipment (PPE), and report unsafe conditions. Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned to support daily operations. Qualifications and Requirements Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping and receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, or material handling is preferred. Ability to handle heavy and bulky products, including impact windows and doors, while following established safety procedures. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical warehouse tasks throughout the workday. Ability to accurately identify, count, inspect, and organize products. Forklift and pallet jack experience is preferred. Forklift certification may be required for applicable duties. Familiarity with RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a plus. Basic math skills and the ability to maintain accurate inventory records. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Strong organizational skills, reliability, and attention to detail. Commitment to workplace safety, product protection, and company procedures.
