Receiving and Inventory Specialist
Unified LogisticsWarehouse Receiving & Inventory Lead Shipping Butler has a full-time opening for an experienced Warehouse Receiving & Inventory Lead to take ownership of our receiving and dock area. We provide pick-and-pack fulfillment services to growing e-commerce brands. This hands-on role combines receiving incoming goods, accurately counting and verifying inventory, maintaining clear records, and keeping deliveries and carrier pickups organized. You’ll work closely with our General Manager and warehouse team and serve as a regular point of contact for vendors and drivers. Experience receiving incoming inventory, strong math skills, and accurate counting are a MUST. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, follows through on discrepancies, and keeps the receiving area organized throughout the day. Required: Using scanners and computer devices with programs such as Shiphero, Shipstation, Shopify, Google Sheets, Slack and any inventory management systems. We are located in Boyle Heights. Hours are from Monday thru Friday from 7a/8a to 4p/5p. Parking is available. Overtime is offered. Responsibilities and Duties not limited to: Receive and verify incoming goods such as client inventory, packaging, and carrier returns. Tracking, updating and confirming inventory purchase orders. Working with Google Sheets and Slack to inform the client and internal team. Reporting to management and advising on process improvements. Proper Inventory count skills and confidence with numbers. Coordinate outgoing e-commerce carton pickups on the docks with carriers. Checking physical counts against paperwork and investigating differences. Qualifications: Strong math / numbers skillset. Responsiveness to vendor drop-offs. Positive attitude and energetic work ethic. Attention to detail - this is pertinent in the shipping world. Professional oral and written communication a MUST. Excellent and savvy PC computer skills (Word, Excel, Google Suite) such as entering receiving data, updating spreadsheets, and documenting discrepancies. Understands processes quickly and follows directions. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Requirements: High School Degree at a minimum Warehouse receiving of cartons / pallets and documentation.
