Receiver / Material Handler Location: Mississauga, ON Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., with occasional overtime. We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable Receiver / Material Handler to join our warehouse team. About the Role The Receiver / Material Handler is responsible for the safe and accurate receipt, movement, storage, and distribution of materials throughout the warehouse. This role plays a key part in supporting production operations and maintaining inventory accuracy. Key Responsibilities Unload inbound shipments using a pump truck or forklift Verify received goods against shipping documentation Label products accurately with descriptions, part numbers, and quantities Move inventory from inspection to warehouse rack locations and record transactions in the ERP system Supply materials to production areas as required Support warehouse organization and rack consolidation initiatives Retrieve materials from storage locations for the Picking and Packing team Perform daily inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts and reach trucks Prepare daily receiving reports Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), company policies, and health and safety requirements Assist with light assembly and other material-handling tasks as needed Perform additional duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Valid forklift certification with a minimum of 1 year before expiry and experience operating: Counterbalance forklifts Narrow Aisle Reach trucks Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehouse, receiving, or material handling role Experience with ERP systems and basic computer skills considered an asset Ability to safely lift 30 lbs. Comfortable using hand tools Furniture manufacturing experience is an asset Strong organizational and communication skills Good command of written and spoken English Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused Team-oriented with a positive work ethic Working Environment Fast-paced manufacturing environment Exposure to varying temperatures within the facility due to seasonal weather conditions Diverse and inclusive workplace culture Standing, walking, sitting, and material handling throughout the shift Why Join Arconas?
