JCQ ServicesThe Warehouse Receiver / Dispatcher supports warehouse and logistics operations by coordinating the accurate and timely flow of materials, shipments, and deliveries. The position requires strong organization, communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The role works closely with warehouse personnel, drivers, vendors, and project teams to support safe, efficient, and accurate operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Receiving & Inventory Receive and verify incoming materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and shipping documentation. Inspect deliveries for quantity, condition, accuracy, and discrepancies. Accurately record, label, and coordinate received materials for storage or distribution. Report shortages, overages, damages, and inventory discrepancies promptly. Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation as needed. Dispatch & Logistics Coordinate deliveries, pickups, transfers, and movement of materials between warehouses and project locations. Schedule and communicate transportation requirements with drivers, warehouse personnel, vendors, and project teams. Verify orders and materials are complete, properly documented, and staged before dispatch. Track delivery status and communicate delays, changes, or operational issues. Maintain accurate inbound and outbound shipment records. Technology & Process Improvement Maintain accurate information in inventory, dispatch, logistics, and company systems. Use approved AI, automation, and digital tools to support scheduling, shipment tracking, documentation, reporting, and data accuracy. Use technology to help identify shipment, inventory, or documentation discrepancies and improve operational efficiency. Identify repetitive administrative processes that may be streamlined or automated. Review and validate AI-generated information before using it for operational decisions or company records. Warehouse Operations & Safety Coordinate loading, unloading, staging, and material movement with warehouse personnel. Maintain organized receiving, dispatch, and staging areas. Follow company safety procedures and required PPE standards. Report equipment issues, damaged materials, safety hazards, or operational concerns to the Warehouse Manager. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of experience in receiving, dispatch, logistics, shipping, warehouse operations, or a related field. Knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory, and material-handling processes. Experience reviewing purchase orders, packing slips, shipping documents, and inventory records. Experience with inventory, warehouse, logistics, or business software. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Ability to manage multiple deliveries, shipments, and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Basic math and inventory-counting skills. Ability to learn and effectively use new digital, AI-enabled, and automation tools. Preferred Qualifications Experience with warehouse or inventory management systems. Experience coordinating drivers, deliveries, routes, or material transfers. Experience in construction, logistics, distribution, or commercial warehouse operations. Forklift or pallet jack experience and certification, if required for assigned duties. Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills Work Environment & Schedule This is a full-time, in-person position requiring 40 hours per week. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential requirement of the position. Work is performed primarily in a warehouse environment and may involve noise, moving equipment, dust, and varying temperatures. Travel between company locations, warehouses, and project sites may be required based on business needs.
