Ready Mix Driver CDL A/B

Overview We are seeking a dependable and experienced Ready Mix Driver with a CDL A or B license to join our team. This role involves the safe and efficient transportation of concrete and related materials to various job sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial truck driving, adhere strictly to safety protocols, and possess mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment maintenance. Duties Operate commercial trucks with CDL A or B license to deliver ready mix concrete to construction sites and customers. Follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safety protocols during daily operations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required by company policies and regulatory standards. Assist with equipment maintenance, including basic mechanical troubleshooting and minor repairs when necessary. Ensure the proper handling and securement of concrete loads for safe transportation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site personnel, and team members to coordinate deliveries efficiently. Uphold a high standard of safety awareness at all times while on the road and at job sites. Requirements Valid CDL A or B license with a clean driving record. Minimum of two years of commercial truck driving experience, preferably in concrete or similar material delivery. Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial vehicle operation. Strong adherence to safety protocols and procedures in all aspects of work. Mechanical aptitude for basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Ability to operate heavy-duty trucks safely under various conditions. Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
