Job Description: Ready-Mix Plant Dispatch Personnel Company: Mid-Minnesota Concrete Position Summary: The Ready-Mix Plant Dispatch Coordinator manages daily concrete orders, schedules deliveries, dispatches mixer trucks, and communicates with customers, drivers, plant personnel, and contractors. This role ensures safe, timely, and efficient deliveries while maximizing truck utilization and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Schedule and dispatch concrete deliveries based on customer needs and equipment availability. Coordinate trucks, drivers, routes, and plant production for efficient operations. Communicate delivery updates, order changes, and delays with customers, drivers, and plant personnel. Verify order details and ensure concrete meets customer specifications. Monitor deliveries, truck availability, and turnaround times to maximize productivity. Maintain accurate dispatch records, schedules, and tickets. Resolve customer concerns and scheduling conflicts professionally. Communicate operational needs and issues to management. Follow company safety policies and perform other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications: · Experience in ready-mix concrete dispatching, construction, trucking, or related industries. · Knowledge of concrete ordering, mix designs, placement requirements, and delivery procedures. Work Setting: · Primarily office-based at the ready-mix plant. · Variable hours based on seasonal demand and customer needs. · Early starts and occasional extended hours during peak construction season. · Family-oriented work environment.
