Forklift Operator – Warehouse Company: BCFoods Job Summary BCFoods is seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. This position is responsible for safely operating forklifts, moving and storing materials, loading and unloading trucks, and supporting daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate has previous forklift experience, pays attention to detail, and can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment. Load and unload trucks, deliveries, and shipments. Move raw materials, finished products, and supplies throughout the warehouse. Store and stack products in designated locations. Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues. Verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy. Maintain accurate inventory and material movement records. Follow warehouse procedures, safety guidelines, and company policies. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Report damaged products, unsafe conditions, and workplace incidents immediately. Assist with inventory counts and other warehouse duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous forklift operating experience preferred. Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment preferred. Ability to safely operate forklifts and complete company-required operator training and evaluation. Basic understanding of warehouse safety and inventory procedures. Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift. Ability to work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Ability to safely operate equipment and perform essential job duties.
