Reach Truck Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Reach Truck Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently operating reach trucks and other material handling equipment to move, locate, and organize inventory within our warehouse. Your expertise will ensure smooth warehouse operations, accurate inventory management, and safe handling of goods. Duties Operate reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and Hi-Lo equipment to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse Pick and pack orders accurately using barcode scanning systems and order picker tools Manage inventory levels by conducting regular stock counts and updating warehouse management systems (WMS) Ensure all equipment is maintained properly; perform basic repairs or report issues for repair to minimize downtime Follow warehouse safety protocols including OSHA standards and forklift safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying shipments against documentation and preparing items for dispatch Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing materials efficiently for timely order fulfillment Experience Proven experience operating reach trucks or similar heavy material handling equipment in a warehouse setting Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning technology, and inventory control procedures Familiarity with warehouse safety standards such as OSHA regulations and forklift safety protocols Experience in order picking, manual handling, heavy lifting, and materials handling techniques Prior work in shipping & receiving environments with an understanding of logistics workflows Warehouse supervisor experience or familiarity with warehouse operations management is a plus Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory counts and order processing Join us as a Reach Truck Operator if you thrive in energetic environments where precision meets safety!
