Overview The Raw Material Handler will be responsible for receiving raw and finished goods, inventory accuracy, material moving and rack location organization in accordance with established processes and procedures. This position will be 100% onsite at 10888 Metro Court, Maryland Heights, MO 63043. The hours are 6 am - 2:30 pm. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Receive all incoming products and work with purchasing on any issues of incoming product. Locate all incoming material to appropriate storage space. Perform regular cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy at a high level. Become certified as a forklift operator. Ability to learn and understand the raw materials associated with all product lines. Ability to train fellow employees in all phases of all Raw Material Handler I position. Pick work orders for manufacturing using an ERP System. Additional responsibilities as requested or required by management. Pull and pack kits to maintain min and max levels. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities. COMPETENCIES: Is consistently at work and on time. Follows instructions, responds to management direction Must be proficient in basic forklift operation Must possess a strong attention to detail Must possess basic math skills Prioritizes and plans for work activities Uses time efficiently Meets productivity standards Completes work in timely manner Observes safety and security procedures Reports potentially unsafe conditions Uses equipment and materials properly LANGUAGE SKILLS: Page Break Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in a one-on-one and small group situation to customers, clients and other employees of the organization. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & TRAINING: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); and 2 to 3 years of shipping and receiving experience in warehouse environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES OR REGISTRATIONS: Forklift operation / safety certification COMPUTER SKILLS: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook is required. Proficiency in ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX12 is preferred. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The employee may frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch during shift. Employees will be required to regularly sit, use hand to finger, handle, feel and reach with hands and arms. Employees must be able to occasionally lift, push, pull and or move up to 50 lbs. WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position works in an environment with moderate noise levels. TRAVEL: No travel is required for this position.
